
Are you a sibling of someone with autism who is starting your own family?
The Autism Science Foundation is funding a collaborative research network to identify, evaluate and support the children of typically-developing siblings of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). These second-degree relatives normally do not have access to expert clinical assessments, although research shows that they have a higher probability of an autism diagnosis. The Next Gen Sibs Project was launched in 2021 as an expansion of the Baby Siblings Research Consortium.

If you are the sibling of an individual with autism and are pregnant, considering expanding your family, or have a child under the age of 6 months, we invite you to join this project. This is a unique opportunity to meet with expert clinicians during infancy to have your child's development closely monitored. Meetings with a trained clinician are available in person and via telehealth. Please contact the location closest to you geographically, found below:
